Monitoring Committee

The purpose of the Monitoring Committee (MC) is to assess the progress of an Operational Programme, on an annual basis at least, and the progress in the attainment of its goals. The Committee has the twofold task of “supervising” the implementation of a Programme – by examining each aspect affecting its results – and acting as the main forum bringing together all the parties involved in the management and implementation of a Programme and the representatives of the reference partnerships.

At the first meeting of the MC of the OP on Governance and Institutional Capacity for the 2014-2020 period – held in Rome on 28 July 2015 – it was decided to adopt the internal Regulation setting out its membership, distinguishing between members with voting rights and members attending only on a consultative basis, as well as its tasks and procedures.
