Operation selection criteria are defined by the Managing Authority and serve the purpose of identifying and financing effective projects consistent with the Programme’s objectives.
Projects are selected through open public procedures (calls for tenders and public notices) or based on agreements between competent public administrations, following specific technical and administrative appraisals.
Operation selection criteria are broken down into eligibility criteria and evaluation criteria.
Eligibility criteria are selection criteria with the aim of confirming the presence of common overarching requirements consistent with the aims of the Programme and the guiding principles applicable to all the Axes.
Evaluation criteria, which are specific to each Axis, specific objective and action, allow for project selection from a shortlist of eligible proposals.
